I'm loving Korres Wild Rose Face Oil

I'm a massive fan of facial oils, especially if they happen to contain rose, one of my all-time favourite ingredients. Meet my new skincare superstar.

So, I have two beauty confessions today. The first is that I am a huge fan of the Greek beauty brand, KORRES, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. I discovered the brand in Lefkada/Lefkas about 15 years ago when I was on holiday, and came home heavily laden withall kinds of gorgeous products which combined natural, home-grown ingredients with chic apothecary styling. My second confession is well-known to anyone who has followed me over the years. I am a devotee to oil. Whether it's face, body or hair, I swear by oils (derived from plants, nuts and flowers) and am never without a selection on my bedside table and bathroom shelf.  I'm especially delighted that to celebrate their 20th birthday, Korres have launched the beautifully 'scented and presented' Wild Rose Advanced Brightening and Nourishing Face Oil, £30. This is no ordinary oil. The elixir - a revamp of one of KORRES' original apothecary products - is infused with red rose petals and has been super-charged with SUPER C, an ingredient which boosts the skin's absorption of Vitamin C.  Just in case you're not into beauty biochemistry, Vitamin C is a proven skin brightener, along with protecting against sun induced aging. It's also got moistursing Apricot and Sunflower oils and - bonus - is free from parabens and mineral oils. I've been using it for the past few weeks, and can honestly report that my skin feels more hydrated, and definitely looks less 'weary'.
